Frames and Mirrors

 Mr. Badea is a young and joyful artisa. He can isolate windows as well as he can change mirrors and frames for paintings.  

 Calea Mosilor is a street with a lot of history concerning the kraft business, a wide variaty of workshops being opened here. “Glass, we repair the glass, the windows, your mirrors” were words that you could hear, 100 years ago, being shouted on this street. Now only the noise of the cars has remained. Even so, in this workshop, that is under the umbrella of the Coop Tehnica Sticlei, craftman work hard. Here you can do whatever frames you wish, get glasses in any size and the most important thing is that the team wants to make any dream of the client come true.  

Pantea Serv Impex is a workshop that does windows and mirrors works and one can find it in the back of the courtyard that has the entrance on Ion Mihalache Bvd. Opened since 1992, it has managed to be different that the other same trade workshops because it can do a high and divers number of orders. Starting with all kinds of glass and ending with all sorts of mirrors.

Framing paintings, all sorts of glasses, with or without mid frame, mirrors of diferent shapes and sizes all can be done in the shop of Tehnica sticlei (a shop that works in glass) that can be found on Corneliu Coposu Bvd, where had been working since the 90s Mr Dan. The first contact he had with this kraft happened in his childhood thanks to the parents of the workman that had shown him the steps in working with glass. At first we reject what we receive from our parents, but after some years passed Mr Dan has strongly realised what valuable gift his parents had made him, and now he proundly speaks about the orders that arrive in the shop.

Mr. Petru says that since the passage Grant was built, fewer people step inside his shop for glasses and mirrors. Changes in the urban landscape are most of the time crucial to small family businesses or for workshops of this kind. But thanks to internet , now we can easily bypass the street and to know that around the corner we can find Mr Petru who works with glass.
